album

Webb’s debut album “Workers and Travellers” is done. Back in the midst of pandemic lockdowns, Webb called his buddy Andrew Penner. “you got any songs?” Penner asked him. “Yup, I do.” So began the long journey that brought about this album. Written from his years traveling the highways in the north where the souls of his ancestors invaded his mind, these songs find their heartbeat from the factories, cemeteries, taverns, lumber mills, mines, and endless highways and forests of Ontario’s north where Webb’s uncles, aunts, grandparents, sisters, brothers, cousins and parents drifted and lived and laughed and loved and worked.

Produced by Andrew Penner (Sunparlour Players, Harrow Fair). Penner has created a masterful soundscape that captures the road traveled souls that populate Webb’s songs. Webb and Andrew will be performing songs from the album at the album launch, June 8 @ The Painted Lady.
